Clontarf Therapy

As an accredited psychotherapist since 2009, I have been working both with adolescents and adults. Much of my work is with people who carry the impact of trauma in its many forms – whether from early experiences of neglect, loss, or abuse, or from more recent events that continue to echo in the present. Trauma can leave us feeling stuck in old patterns, disconnected from ourselves, and unsure how to move forward. Therapy offers a place to make sense of these experiences and to begin finding new ways of living.

I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, relationship difficulties, identity, and the lasting effects of childhood experiences. I also have particular experience in the areas of childhood sexual abuse and harmful sexual behaviour. While these are areas of specialisation, the central thread to all my work is creating a safe and compassionate space where each person’s unique story can be heard.

My approach is collaborative and relational. I believe therapy is not about quick solutions, but about slowing down, reflecting and exploring together with patterns that have shaped you. In doing so, we can open up possibilities for healing, connection, and change.

Alongside my individual work, I also offer group therapy and professional training but the one-to-one relationship remains the foundation of my practice.
